Part-time Chef

Overview: We are looking for a reliable, creative, and experiencedIn-Home Chefto prepare 3–4 delicious, healthy, and well-balanced meals twice a week in our home (will be refrigerated). This role is ideal for a culinary professional who thrives in a personalized, flexible, and low-stress environment. You’ll work closely with us to plan meals, handle grocery shopping, cook on-site using our fully equipped kitchen, and leave everything clean and tidy after your visit. Key Responsibilities: • Prepare 3–4 fresh meals in a single cooking session, twice weekly (day/time is flexible). • Collaborate with the household to plan weekly menus based on dietary preferences, health goals, and seasonal ingredients. • Handle grocery shopping for all necessary ingredients (with reimbursement provided). • Cook and store meals in clearly labeled containers for easy reheating or serving. • Clean the kitchen and cooking tools after each session, leaving the space as you found it. • Suggest new recipes and meal ideas that balance taste, nutrition, and variety. Requirements: • Proven experience as a chef, personal chef, or in a similar culinary role. • Ability to work independently and responsibly in a home kitchen setting. • Strong understanding of nutrition, dietary restrictions, and healthy cooking techniques. • Excellent planning and organizational skills for efficient meal prep and cleanup. • Food safety knowledge and a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene. • Culinary training or degree is preferred but not required with sufficient experience. • A friendly, professional demeanor and the ability to communicate clearly.
