Part-Time Custodian

Job Description: First Free Methodist Church is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Custodian to maintain the cleanliness and functionality of our facilities. This mid-shift role (11:00 AM - 4:00 PM) supports church activities and ensures an excellent standard of maintenance. Responsibilities: • Perform custodial duties, including cleaning, room setup, and maintenance, during mid-shift hours. • Ensure daily tasks maintain a high level of cleanliness and upkeep. • Assist with troubleshooting and coordinating with outside contractors alongside church staff. • Conduct proactive and preventive maintenance to preserve facility appearance and function. • Collaborate with church staff on facility use policy development. • Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: • Experience in custodial or maintenance work preferred. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
