Part-Time Customer Experience Associate (Remote)

Tecovas is the first direct-to-consumer western brand, founded with the simple goal of making the world’s best western boots, apparel, and leather goods - and selling them at a fair price. We are a brand revolutionizing a category and welcoming first-time boot buyers and western enthusiasts alike. 

We're passionate about customer experience here at Tecovas, and we're looking for remote Part-Time Customer Experience Associates that can ensure our current and future customers have an unparalleled interaction with our brand and product. 

This role is remote, and will include a 5-week training period as follows:

• Week 1 – Self-guided training via our online learning platform
• Weeks 2 AND 3 – Zoom training led by our Training & Development Manager. Required from 10/17/22 - 10/28/22 (M-F) from 1PM - 4PM CST
• Week 4 & 5 Continued training within your permanent schedule

What you’ll do:

• Serve as the first point of contact for new and existing customers through our communication channels, including email, live chat, and phone
• Quickly and accurately answer customer questions as well as solve problems related to purchases, shipping, and other issues
• Provide warm and thoughtful advice to questions, largely related to product style, fit, and customer-specific recommendations

Experience we’re looking for and qualifications:

• Passion for Tecovas - and our customers!
• A sensitive and skillful communicator (both online and offline!) who can adapt your tone and communication style depending on your audience
• A self-starter who takes ownership of (and pride in) your work
• Natural ability to manage difficult customer situations in a calm, positive manner
• Quick learner of new technical systems and procedures 
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• Available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Must have access to a laptop, headset, and a quiet workspace
• Bonus: Candidates bilingual in both English and Spanish are highly encouraged to apply! 

The hourly pay rate for this position: $15 per hour.

Tecovas was born out of a love for cowboy boots, their time-honored craftsmanship, rich materials that last, and traditional styling that always looks good. Each pair of Tecovas boots is crafted by hand in over 200 steps. It’s not the easiest or cheapest method, but we’re committed to classic construction techniques that stand the test of time.
