Part-Time Janitor

Summary We are seeking a motivated, reliable and well-organized Part-Time Janitor to maintain cleanliness in our facility. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work and ensures our building is clean, orderly, and presentable always. Responsibilities • Sweep and damp mop all hard surface floors. • ·Vacuum carpets in stairways and office spaces. • Empty trash and recycling bins and properly dispose of waste in designated dumpsters • Restock supplies such as hand soap, paper towels, toilet paper and toilet seat cover as needed • Thoroughly clean and sanitize all horizontal surfaces, including countertops, sink, chairs, tables refrigerators, microwaves, oven and all manners of furnishings. • Clean and polish all windows and glass surfaces • Perform monthly deep hard floor cleaning. • Perform monthly deep carpet cleaning. • Notify the Procurement Department promptly of any office supply needs in time. • Report any maintenance or repair issues to management. • Other duties as assigned • Comply with EDI’s company’s Policy Qualifications • Motivated, reliable and well-organized person • Previous janitorial or cleaning experience preferred • Ability to work independently and follow instructions • Basic understanding of cleaning supplies • Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting up to 25 lbs Job Type: Part-time Pay: Up to $20.00 per hour Benefits: • Flexible schedule Work Location: In person
