Part Time Janitor

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the office, kitchen and bathroom of the warehouse facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with a focus on quality and efficiency. Responsibilities • Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in designated areas. • Conduct thorough cleaning of restrooms, break rooms, and common areas to uphold hygiene standards. • Handle waste disposal and recycling accordingly • Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as required, including minor repairs and upkeep of equipment. • Follow safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment to ensure a safe working environment. • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly. • Provide porter services as needed, assisting with the movement of furniture or supplies within the facility. Requirements • Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided. • Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and equipment is an advantage. • Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and maintenance is desirable. • Experience in residential painting or industrial cleaning is a plus. • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively. • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing high-quality service. • Ability to lift moderate weights and perform physical tasks associated with cleaning duties.
