PART-TIME MUSIC TEACHER

Job Summary Seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-Time Music Teacher to join our team. Ideal for undergraduate or graduate students looking to make great money a few hours a week. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in music education and a genuine enthusiasm for music and children. This role involves singing and playing live for small children, managing classroom dynamics, and fostering a love for music among students. The Part-Time Music Teacher will work with both children and adults, providing instruction that caters to diverse learning styles and abilities. Duties • Conduct group music lessons, focusing on various instruments and songs. • Manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment that encourages student participation.. • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessments. • Engage with parents and guardians regarding their child's development in music education. Requirements • Proven experience in music - multi-instrument knowledge a plus! • Classroom management skills to effectively maintain a productive learning environment. • Experience working with children or adults in an educational setting is highly desirable. • Familiarity with various musical genres, instruments, and teaching methods. • Background in early childhood education or special education is a plus. • Additional skills such as photography, ballet, cooking, dancing, culinary experience, sewing, or theater may enhance the teaching experience. • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and colleagues. • A passion for childhood development and behavior management strategies is essential.
