Part-Time / Per Diem Auditor (CPA)

Kanee Group, CPAs is seeking a licensed CPA with AICPA “A” designation to assist on a part-time or per diem basis for two upcoming audit engagements. This role is ideal for a retired or semi-retired auditor looking for flexible work while maintaining professional standards. What You’ll Do: Serve as the engagement partner responsible for audit sign-off in compliance with professional standards. Oversee and review audit workpapers to ensure conformity with GAAS and applicable auditing standards. Provide guidance to staff on audit methodology and best practices. Maintain independence, objectivity, and ethical compliance throughout the engagement. Ensure appropriate documentation and quality control consistent with AICPA and state board requirements. What We’re Looking For: Active CPA license (with CBA “A” designation) in good standing. Experience as an audit partner, audit manager, or sign-off auditor (public accounting). Familiarity with nonprofit or small business audit engagements preferred. Ability to review and finalize audit reports for issuance under Kanee's name. Excellent working knowledge of AICPA professional standards, GAAS, and state board requirements.
