Tech Company Security Officer We are looking for a smart and ambitious individual. Our company is growing very fast and we need a little help on the weekend. Starting Location: Santa Clara Positions and Schedules: Tech Company Security Officer: Fridays & Saturdays, 11pm-7am, 16/hours a week Hourly Pay 1st Year:$25.00 + 1.00/hour (uniform maintenance) = $26.00/hr Start Date:As soon as ready to start. What we are looking for is a sharp individual who is highly professional, hardworking and honest at all times. This site is very quiet, almost no activity. As a security officer for this particular client, your duties are pretty simple. Officers typically sit in their vehicles and then conduct a patrol of the property every 30 minutes, either interior patrol of the building or an exterior door check. Patrols take anywhere from 5 minutes to 15 minutes. There is coffee and snacks available inside the building. Very clean site at an up and coming tech company. Job Duties Including But Not Limited To: • Respond to service calls. • Walk around the property checking areas of interest from Client. • Check parking permits, issue citations and tow vehicles when needed. • Conduct patrol tours of using a checkpoint scanning system with smartphone. • Identify potential security risks and report them. • Complete hourly activity reports and incident reports using a smartphone. • Respond to emergencies or incidents and report them. • Assist employees, residents and visitors with any questions or concerns they may have. • Escalate emergency situations to law enforcement as needed. • Train other team members on site duties and procedures. • Work other job sites, which may include driving a company vehicle. • Use company vehicle on occasion for special requests from client. Job Requirements: • Valid California security guard license • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required • Must be at least 21 years old • Must have clean driving record • Must be hardworking • Must be honest • Ability to pass a background check • Previous security-related work experience • Ability to stay levelheaded and respond quickly in stressful situations • Proficient written and oral communication skills in English • Comfortable kneeling, carrying, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods of time • Ability to perform continuous physical exertion as needed • Working knowledge of basic security techniques • Train new team members on site duties and procedures SGT Private Security, Inc. is a start up security company with over 40 years of experience.
