Part-Time Warehouse and Showroom Custodian

Description: Job Title:Warehouse and Showroom Custodian Job Type: PartTime, in person Schedule:Monday - Friday, 3:00 PM – 6:30 PM Work Location:West of downtown Dallas Pay Range:$18 - $20 per hour depending on experience, 40 hours per week Position Summary: The Custodian will clean and maintain the Woodall Warehouse, Howell Showroom, and Howell Vintage locations. The Custodian is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in our warehouse offices, restrooms, and common areas. This role ensures a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for staff and visitors while supporting day-to-day upkeep of shared spaces. Essential Functions Statement(s) • Clean and sanitize restrooms daily. • Vacuum office areas. • Wipe down and polish front door glass. • Remove trash from the breakroom, restrooms, and offices. • Restock drinks in the breakroom refrigerator. • Wipe down kitchen countertops and surfaces. • Operate the dishwasher, unload, and put away clean dishes. • Perform other cleaning and organizing tasks as assigned. • Performs general cleaning and janitorial duties in the common areas of the building. • Order/replenish/stock paper goods for kitchen, breakroom and bathrooms • Empties refrigerators of takeout containers once per week and cleans as needed. • Loads and empties dishwasher and organizes dish drawers. • Dusts furniture and artwork • Vacuums, sweeps, and mops floors. • Cleans inside of doors and windows • Cleans and sanitizes restrooms and breakrooms. • Maintains a neat and orderly supply room; ensures cleaning and maintenance supplies are stocked. • Assists in examining for safety hazards; reports deficiencies to management. • Performs other related duties as assigned.Requirements: Education, Experience, & Certifications: • High school diploma or equivalent required. • Must pass a background check. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Knowledge of safety hazards and proper use of various cleaning and sanitizing solutions. • Detail-oriented and thorough. • Ability to perform basic repairs and operate tools or equipment used in routine maintenance. • Ability to keep the facilities clean and orderly. • Prolonged periods standing. • Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 30 pounds at a time.
