Job Description
Smartly.io has an exciting new opportunity for a Partner Development Lead to join our team to focus on growing our partnership with our consumer platforms (Meta, Snapchat, TikTok, Pinterest, and Twitter)!
Your role will be to drive sales qualified leads into the Smartly sales organization via our consumer platforms. As the “Channel Expert” you will represent platform opportunities to existing Smartly customers in order to drive interest and media investment in media solutions via the Smartly platform.
As a Partner Development Lead at Smartly.io you will…
- Partner with Smartly client teams to present and demonstrate the benefits of the consumer platform channels as a differentiated offering and drive revenue growth for Smartly
- Utilize Quarterly Business Reviews and existing customer contact moments to drive growth
- Drive opportunities within the sales org for Smartly
- Leverage targeted accounts within Smartly organization to drive adoption along with key designated targets
- Build trust with our platform partners and evangelize the benefits of our platform partners and the use of the Smartly platform on behalf of their clients
- Support Smartly Sales team as needed in meetings with platform partner representatives
- Assist with deals in the sales cycle to ensure consistency of messaging
- Work with Product Marketing to build relevant collateral for our partner's AE’s, Smartly Client Partners, Customer Success and Smartly sellers
- Identify case study opportunities and drive development of these use cases and case studies for broad use publication
- Function as the liaison of product and sales across our platform partners and Smartly to drive adoption
We are looking for you if you have…
- 5+ years of experience in ad-tech/mar-tech industries with a proven record of growing strategic accounts; experience with TikTok, Meta, Snap, and other Social Media Platforms is a must
- Are driven by sales, account expansion, and helping your partners achieve their business targets and marketing goals
- Have excellent communication skills and the ability to build connections and engage expertly with a variety of audiences, including C-level decision-makers
- Have a strong desire to learn about the product in order to effectively sell up to the C-suite or down to end-users as needed
- Ability to collaborate closely with internal cross-functional teams (product, marketing, engineering, customer success, etc.) record of meeting and exceeding quota on a consistent basis
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

The base pay range for this position is as mentioned below per year, plus annual bonus. We take into consideration an individual’s background, expertise, and experience in determining final salary. In addition to annual salary, Smartly.io’s total rewards provide employees with stock options, medical/dental/vision insurance, retirement savings benefits, parental leave, 5 weeks vacation, unlimited sick days, life insurance and disability benefits.
