Part-Time Nocturnist Hospitalist, Kailua, Hawaii

Adventist Health Castle (AHCS), in beautiful Kailua is assisting a well-established, community-based hospitalist group, proudly serving Windward Oahu for over a decade, recruit a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Internal Medicine Nocturnist. Incumbent will join a collaborative and collegial team dedicated to high quality care, on a part-time basis. Ideal candidate will be team-oriented, compassionate, dependable, have experience with diverse patient populations, and possess a love of local culture, and community. Previous hospitalist or nocturnist experience preferred. If you seek a long-term rewarding hospitalist role with a flexible schedule, this could be an ideal career opportunity.

Candidates must be Board Certified or Eligible, Hawaii licensed or eligible and meet the hospital’s medical staff credentialing standards.

Position Highlights

• Flexible part-time schedule
• Up to eight shifts per month
• Shifts are 7 pm - 7am
• Average six admissions per night and cross cover for 50-60 patients on average
• Critical care unit coverage and procedures includes intubation, running codes & central lines
• Must be comfortable taking care of critically ill patients
• EHR is Cerner
