Position Summary: We are currently seeking an experienced and innovativePastry Chefto lead our dessert program. The ideal candidate is passionate about pastry arts, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is excited to push creative boundaries while maintaining exceptional quality and consistency. Key Responsibilities: β€’ Lead the pastry department and manage daily pastry prep and service. β€’ Develop and execute seasonal dessert menus that align with Juniper & Ivy’s culinary vision. β€’ Oversee all aspects of pastry production, including breads, plated desserts, ice creams, and specialty items. β€’ Train, mentor, and manage pastry team members to maintain a high-performing and collaborative team. β€’ Maintain quality control, portion consistency, and presentation standards. β€’ Manage pastry inventory and ordering, ensuring proper cost controls and minimal waste. β€’ Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations. Requirements: β€’ Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Pastry Chef or equivalent role in a fine dining environment. β€’ Proven track record of creativity, leadership, and team management. β€’ Strong technical pastry skills across a range of techniques and disciplines. β€’ Excellent time management and organizational skills. β€’ Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. β€’ Food Handler’s Certification required.
