Job Description
New Italian restaurant with Mediterranean undertones will be opening at the end of this year and is in search of a Pastry Chef that is well versed in classic and modern Italian desserts and breads. This will be the companyβs first US based restaurant as they currently have very reputable restaurants in Europe.
This restaurant prides themselves on traditional recipes, exceptional quality, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The ideal candidate will have proven experience as an Italian Pastry Chef or in a similar role, with strong knowledge of traditional Italian baking techniques and recipes. A deep passion for Italian cuisine and culinary excellence is essential, along with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of classic Italian desserts such as tiramisu, panna cotta, cannoli, biscotti, and more, as well as traditional Italian breads. Maintaining high standards of quality, presentation, and consistency will be key, along with managing inventory and ensuring the freshness of ingredients. They will also be expected to follow health and safety regulations in the kitchen, collaborate with the team to develop new recipes, and continually improve existing ones. The ideal candidate should possess excellent attention to detail and creativity, with flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
Offering a starting base salary of up to $85k DOE, this is a phenomenal opportunity to get in with a company that is growing.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
