Patrol Officer/Maintenance

Downtown Las Vegas office/retail building and parking garage has an immediate opening for a part-time (Saturday/Sunday overnights) Patrol/Maintenance candidate to perform standard patrol duties, in addition to general maintenance of the property. Job requires candidate to perform foot patrols to identify and alert others of potential safety hazards, unwanted activities, damage to property and illegal activities. We are looking for a highly motivated candidate who wants a long-term position with a growing company, and who takes a lot of pride in doing their best job every day. DATES AND HOURS: SATURDAY AND SUNDAY OVERNIGHTS – 7:00 PM – 4:00 ONLY The successful candidates will perform the following duties: PATROL · Tour assigned facility on foot to remove vagrants and other irregular activity · Ability to walk the property with ease and traverse stairs · Respond to emergencies and contract Metro, as needed · Ability to deal with undesirable people and calmly getting them to leave · This is an unarmed, but hands-on position MAINTENANCE · Pan and broom property · Ability to navigate an app and upload photos hourly on company cell phone (CompanyCam app) · Some basic ability to work with hands re-installing parking garage gate arm if knocked off MISCELLANEOUS · Ability to answer a company phone when parkers have issues entering or leaving the garage Job requirements: · Previous experience in patrol and maintenance · Punctual and ready to work · Legally authorized to work in the United States and have a valid Nevada Driver’s license · Ability to make good decisions (judgment and common sense) · Must have reliable transportation to and from work site (parking onsite is paid by the company) · Background and reference check required · Should be at least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law · Be personable and have the ability to communicate effectively With or without reasonable accommodation, the physical and mental requirements of this job may include the following: seeing, hearing, speaking, and occasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling.
