Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations.

The Payment Integrity Technology Strategy Director is responsible for technology and analytics strategic planning of our Payment Integrity technology vision to ensure growth and performance of Payment Integrity technology products and solutions aligns with the organization's strategic intent. This role is responsible for driving our Payment Integrity vision through the use of cutting-edge technology and the use of AI solutions that will transform the Payment Integrity landscape and reduce healthcare costs across the industry.

How you will make an impact:

  • Develop and execute technology strategies and roadmaps that deliver best in class Payment Integrity products and solutions that improve the accuracy of claim payments and reduce provider abrasion for both Elevance Health & external health plans to reduce the cost of healthcare across the industry.
  • Develop and maintain technology roadmaps that are driven by AI and advanced technologies to ensure delivery of cutting-edge Payment Integrity products & solutions that transform the Payment Integrity landscape.
  • Partner with senior business & technology leaders along with executive leadership to create sound multiyear plans with clear planning assumptions and accurate financial insights for the technology aspects of the Payment Integrity strategy.
  • Monitors and conducts research of related technology and business trends, using data and qualitative performance measures, to advise senior management relative to technology strategy.
  • Synthesizes annual and multi-year plans to demonstrate tie-back to enterprise level strategies and goals to achieve long term growth plan targets.
  • Conduct external research and engage partners across multiple departments within the broader enterprise to frame up potential strategic initiatives for investment or execution support.
  • Perform analysis to develop action plans to address emerging market and technological opportunities.
  • Research new ventures and prospective service expansion opportunities.
  • Develop and present technology strategies through compelling business use cases, visualizations, and effective presentation delivery to executive leaders which will simplify complex technical issues and align technology enablement to strategic business objectives.

Minimum Qualifications:

Requires an BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 10 years' experience in Data Collection and Analysis, IT Consulting, IT Performance Management, Strategy or Financial Planning, Business Intelligence and Analytics, or Business Process Design; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
