Payroll Accountant

JOB DESCRIPTION Payroll Accountant $53,000-$67,000 (plus bonus) Our clients mission is to support wellness by delivering accessible, compassionate, and culturally sensitive health care in collaboration with their patients and the communities they serve. They are looking for aPayroll Accountantthat would be responsible for processing bi-weekly payroll and supporting financial systems, accounting workflows, reporting procedures, and monthly journal entries. Why work here as aPayroll Accountant: • 39 total days of paid time off annually (includes holidays, PTO, personal and floating holidays) • Stable, growing healthcare organization serving under- resourced communities • Comprehensive benefits include: 403 (b) with match, medical, dental, vision, pet insurance, tuition reimbursement • Opportunities to work closely with senior leadership • Supportive work environment with an emphasis on continuous improvement and collaboration What you will be doing as thePayroll Accountant: • Manage and process bi-weekly payroll, ensuring accuracy of timecards, taxes, deduction and employee records • Coordinate with HR for payroll data validation and compliance • Record payroll entries, reconcile payroll related accounts and prepare reports • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts including cash and prepaid expenses • Assist in preparing monthly financial statements with key performance indicators • Support audits, government filings and regulatory reports (403 (b) audits, Medicaid/Medicare reports, UDS,FFR) • Contribute to process improvements and collaborate on special finance projects (340B pricing analysis) Experience for thePayroll Accountant: • No degree necessary • Good personality and articulate • 2-3 years total experience in full cycle payroll and HRIS management • Prior experience with managed care and the FQHC environment preferred • Required experience with both ADP Workforce Now (or other payroll software) and Oracle Netsuite (or other financial management system) #LI-PO1 #ZRCFS #INAUG2025
