Here at Volocopter, we are the pioneers of electric air taxis (electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft - eVTOLs). Job Description

Your mission during this flight:

• You will manage payroll relevant employee data, including time and attendance data, in collaboration with People & Organization Specialists
• You will prepare monthly payroll in close collaboration with external payroll provider
• You will supervise correct payroll runs through pre and post payroll checks
• You will manage complex payroll cases in collaboration with employees and external partners
• You will act as a point of contact for payroll (including tax and social security) related questions to management, employees and P&O colleagues
• You will run payroll related analyses and provide respective reports in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. P&O, Finance, Controlling, tax and social security authorities)
• You will contribute to process improvements and digitalization projects

This position can be filled at one of our locations, in Bruchsal (Karlsruhe/Heidelberg region) or Munich.

Qualifications

Check in your professional skills:

• Profound knowledge of payroll processes; ability to steer and control payroll process, create solutions for individual cases, create proposals for process improvements and steer/control external providers
• Profound knowledge in German tax and social security regulations, ability to apply to broad range of cases; ability to solve complex cases in alignment with further partners (e.g. tax consultants)
• Profound knowledge of HRIS, payroll and time & attendance IT system in use
• Knowledge of classic HR KPIs and analysis methods/software (e.g., Excel); ability to apply to standard and ad-hoc requests
• Proficiency in standard office IT systems
• Basic knowledge of project management methods
• Fluent in English and German language
