ROLE OVERVIEW:Ā Ā
We are looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our Central Payroll team. The Specialist will support our efforts to process payroll for exempt, non-exempt, and fee-for-service employees. The role requires comfort around nuance and change with a complex environment.Ā
COMPENSATION: $26.60 - 31.30/hour
RESPONSIBILITIES:Ā

Administer the successful processing of the bi-weekly and monthly, multi-state payroll for 10,000+ employeesĀ
-
Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing in compliance with LifeStance policies and in accordance with all federal/state/local regulationsĀ
-
Process payroll level data for new hires, employee status changes, and terminationsĀ
-
Research and resolve payroll related inquiries in a timely matterĀ
-
Calculate and process payroll adjustments as requiredĀ
-
Develop appropriate SOPās and Job-AidsĀ Ā
-
Assist Internal Audit with periodic audits of various payroll controls to ensure compliance with SOXĀ
-
Help facilitate payroll processes with newly acquired practices as they integrate into LifeStanceĀ
-
Other payroll operational projects and duties as assignedĀ
-
Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions/updates as neededĀ
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:Ā
-
Bachelorās degree in business management, business administration, or a similar field of study preferredĀ
-
5+ years of multi-state and multi-entity payroll administration experienceĀ
-
Detailed knowledge of full payroll process including taxes, deductions, benefits, 401k, and federal/state regulationsĀ
-
Experience in healthcare industry preferredĀ
-
Demonstrate strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas, macros)Ā
-
Strong knowledge ofĀ payrollĀ systems, including full cycle payroll processing in Workday required

Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) experience required
-
Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now preferredĀ
-
Proven analytics and problem-solving skills; ability to create adhoc reports from payroll systemĀ
-
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills requiredĀ
-
Exceptional organization skills and attention to detailĀ
