This role will be hybrid based in our Waltham, MA office. We are unable to provide sponsorship for work authorization for this role.

We are seeking to hire a Payroll Specialist who will provide Payroll Support to our growing company. You come with payroll experience using ADP Workforce Now and preferably come with NetSuite or large ERP system experience!

Payroll duties:

• Backup to Payroll Manager when Payroll Manager is out
• Processing multiple payrolls each month, bi-weekly and semi-monthly, multi-state payroll per company procedures
• Assist in company’s efforts to maintain the integrity of employee payroll and tax files to ensure appropriate payroll processes are applied
• Maintain the integrity of data being entered into ADP, NetSuite
• Identify and recommend process improvement initiatives as they pertain to payroll and accounting processes
• Ensure employee payroll deductions are being processed accordingly through weekly audits
• Work closely with corporate contacts to complete projects by their deadline
• Maintains knowledge and awareness of upcoming changes as they apply to payroll and tax matters
• Work alongside Accounting Department and corporate during monthly payroll and accounting audits
• Assist employees looking for guidance with respect to payroll and tax inquiries; escalate to the Payroll Manager as needed
• Processing Semi-monthly and bi-weekly payrolls
• Processing employee data
• Manage ADP WFN Time and Attendance
• Maintains payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data
• Updates payroll records
• Resolves payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information
• Provides payroll information by answering questions and requests
• Maintains payroll operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
• Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Other projects as assigned if time permits

Qualifications and Experience:

• Payroll Experience Required, Minimum 2 Years with ADP Workforce Now
• Must be very comfortable using ADP WFN
• Strong organization, analytical, data entry skills
• Experience working independently and holding yourself accountable for deadlines
• High attention to detail
• High sense of urgency
• Strong Organizational Skills preferred
• Can work independently and in a team
• Reconcile ADP to GL a plus
• Upload Journal Entries into NetSuite a plus
• NetSuite or large ERP system experience strongly preferred
• Concur experience preferred
• Ability to multitask and work in an extremely fast paced environment
• Knowledge of state payroll and tax laws
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Microsoft Office experience
