The Department of Pediatrics, Monmouth Medical Center, and RWJBarnabas Health is Seeking a Pediatric Allergy/Immunology Physician for full-time employment in Long Branch, NJ.

The candidate will be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatric Allergy/Immunology.

Requirements:

• Board Certified/Board Eligible, American Board of Allergy and Immunology
• Fellowship in Pediatric Allergy and Immunology
• NJ licensed or eligible of licensure
• Adhere to hospital and departmental policies and procedures

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Outpatient coverage: Provide care for pediatric patients at our nearby outpatient facilities (primarily Ann Vogel Family Care and Wellness Center)
• Inpatient coverage: Perform as the admitting attending or consultant for patients that require hospitalization
• Engage in scholarly programs and outreach activities, allowing for teaching responsibilities with pediatric residents and medical students
• Clinical Responsibilities: Diagnosis and treatment of allergic and immunologic ailments
• Must participate in on-call schedule

About Monmouth Medical Center:

The Unterberg Children’s Hospital at Monmouth Medical Center is an academic program within a community-based hospital. Within the hospital, we have faculty representing most pediatric subspecialties and a level 3 NICU. We have an academic affiliation with Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and instruct their medical students, as well as our own pediatric residents.

Monmouth Medical Center recently completed The Anne Vogel Family Care and Wellness Center, a four-floor ambulatory care center for women and children in Eatontown, NJ. This brand new building has outpatient services for the following pediatric subspecialties: GI, weight management, endocrine, pulmonary/CF, ID, cardiology, rheumatology, pediatric surgery, ENT and urology. Also present on-site are outpatient lactation services, OB/GYN, and Children’s Specialized Hospital (the nation’s leading provider for pediatric rehabilitation services).

The hospital is located in central NJ, across the street from beautiful beaches and the ocean. The area has some of the top public and private schools, including the number 1 STEM school in the United States. While there is plenty to do in NJ, we are only a quick 50-minute drive away from NYC and Philadelphia.
