Pediatric Infectious Disease Opportunity

Excellent opportunity to join an established practice at a freestanding children’s hospital! 

Dayton Children’s Hospital, located in Dayton, Ohio, is actively recruiting for a third full-time Pediatric Infectious Disease physician at the level of Assistant/Associate Professor to join our team. The ideal candidate must have completed a Pediatric Infectious Disease fellowship, be board certified/board eligible in Pediatrics and Pediatric Infectious Disease and be licensed/licensable in Ohio. Evidence of successful development and implementation of multidisciplinary quality improvement initiatives is desired.

Clinical responsibilities will include consultation on the inpatient service and in the Infectious Disease Clinic. Leadership opportunities within the hospital’s infection prevention and antimicrobial stewardship programs are available for qualified candidates with an interest in these fields. Active engagement in education of medical students and resident physicians is expected. 

Dayton Children’s Hospital is a 181-bed (soon to be 220 beds with opening of a free-standing Mathile Center for Health and Wellbeing), Level 1 Trauma Center, Magnet certified free-standing tertiary care facility serving a 20-county area in southwest Ohio and eastern Indiana, and is academically affiliated with Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine. Our physicians hold faculty appointments at the Boonshoft School of Medicine.
