About the Role

Reporting to the General Manager Pacific Islands, the role will be responsible for managing the Human Resources functions of Essity Australasia’s operations in the Pacific Islands. The role will be a key member of the Lead Team.

What You Will Do

This role requires a hands-on achiever to structure pragmatic solutions to everyday employee relations issues, manage payroll, talent and development and Union relationships, as well as the ability to be a credible business partner, aligning people initiatives to business strategy. 

Who You Are

To be successful in this role, you will have the following:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Relations and Human Resources Management or other relevant tertiary qualification..
• At least 5 years’ experience in HR leadership, with working experience within FMCG an advantage.
• Technical savvy – with experience in payroll, use of PayGlobal and ESS, and Workday an added advantage.
• Strong relationship management skills and sound decision making processes.
