ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you the person who loves collaborating and bringing order to chaos? Strategizing goals and seeing projects from start to finish may seem like a drag to most, but to you it is nirvana. You are knowledgeable about spearheading major initiatives, developing timelines, and putting plans into action. You love working on multiple projects with cross-functional departments, holding leadership accountable, and you thrive in an autonomous environment.

If that sounds like you, GLORIOUS! You might be the People Herd Senior Project Manager we are looking for! An ultimate control freak (in a good way) who loves managing projects that support employee success and cultivate a unique culture, while also establishing rock solid processes and policies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as the Senior Project Manager for our People Herd. This herd focuses on coaching and mentoring, creating clear culture trainings, HR policies and procedures, legal procedures, and overseeing all IT aspects at goodr   
  • Assist the team in supporting/coaching our people to achieve their greatest potential
  • Be the force multiplier for the head of our People Herd by promoting accountability amongst leadership
  • Spearhead major initiatives and strategic planning across the department’s cross-functional teams
  • Build and create project maps to ensure initiatives are set up for success with actionable milestones and proper timelines
  • Create and present executive briefs to inform department leadership of important status updates and project progress
  • Monitor goals and strategy execution for our HR & Legal, Strategic Initiatives, and Learning & Development teams
  • Effectively and succinctly communicate important information to key role holders
  • Wrangle unicorns and tend to the octopus garden
  • Basically Marie Kondo-ing the heck out of our People Herd 

ABOUT THE IDEAL CANDIDATE 

  • May or may not have a degree...we don’t care (bonus points for Basset Hound Science or Dinosaur Law)
  • Loves everything above
  • Asks a lot of questions 
  • Has 3-5+ years of experience in project management 
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Asana is a MUST
  • HR or hiring background is a BIG plus
  • Has experience in effectively and efficiently running meetings with clear goals and objectives
  • Loves holding people accountable 
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • A self-starter who can rely on their skill in prioritizing and organizing their workflow to coordinate multiple teams
  • Dependable with the willingness to take the initiative to work collaboratively and with a sense of urgency
  • Loves the work more than a paycheck 
  • Thinks planning and organizing are fun
  • Loves to create order out of chaos
  • Is happy to give away credit to their team 
  • Loves getting and giving feedback 
  • Is into personal growth
  • Thinks Fun is being great (not partying) 
  • Is proactive and an independent problem solver! (Can you google a question?)
