Per Diem Float Pharmacist

In this key role, you will be responsible for preparing and dispensing many types of pharmaceuticals to fulfill orders at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, Bowyer and CHS Pharmacy. You will collaborate closely with other members of the health care team to help prevent inappropriate or misuse of medications. Adhering to departmental policies and procedures, you will deliver a wide range of clinical services and dispense medications to the patients directly. Ability to travel to different areas within pharmacy department. Hourly Salary: $103.31 (Standard Per Diem Rate) Bargaining Unit: HX-UPTE Qualifications We’re seeking a dedicated clinical professional with: • Pharm D. degree and current CA Pharmacy license (required). • ASHP-accredited residency (preferred). • 2 years inpatient pharmacy experience (highly preferred). • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, organizational and follow-through skills. • Knowledge of and ability to perform age specific and disease specific pharmacokinetic calculations. • Ability to compound intravenous admixtures and other sterile products (preferred).
