Jenni Kayne is looking for a Performance Graphic Designer to support their in-house performance team across digital ads, OOH, catalog, and additional paid channels. We are looking for someone with specific experience in performance marketing creative and you must possess a deep understanding of the unique requirements of paid channels. In this role, you will report to our Art Director at Jenni Kayne.

The perfect candidate for this role will be highly collaborative and a self-starter – a creative problem solver who can see projects through from conception to execution in a fast-paced environment. You will have a great eye for elevated, high quality, boundary-pushing content – you live and breathe content creation. You possess a unique blend of graphic design, photography, and videography skills, and you are not afraid to flex between all various channels and mediums. 

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Leverage your design skills to produce creative, visually appealing assets that embody our brand's philosophy for performance channels
  • Create compelling assets for all paid channels, from editing video assets to creating new text treatments that push the creative boundary and feel fresh and new in the paid space to differentiate Jenni Kayne 
  • Balance the worlds of performance and brand by understanding how to take performance-minded strategies to test and build them in a branded fashion to protect the Jenni Kayne brand identity 
  • Engage in collaborative brainstorming with the creative, social, performance, and buying teams to ideate fresh, new perspectives to bring to paid channels
  • Work in harmony with the Design and Copy teams, the Art Director, and other marketing leaders to establish an elevated, fresh look and feel for all performance channel creative 
  • Efficiently manage design workflow and deadlines within a fast-paced, collaborative environment without compromising brand standards or quality of work
  • Create clean formatted design files that can be shared seamlessly by the team and update designs based on feedback in a timely manner
  • Take learnings from paid advertising campaigns and performance, tweak creative and constantly test new formats to hit key KPI’s for the brand 
  • Stay up to date on best practices and emerging trends on social media specifically for paid channels

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 4+ years of professional graphic design experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 1 year professional experience working specifically on paid digital campaigns for a brand 
  • Experience working in-house with beauty/home/apparel brands a plus
  • Expert proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, and Premiere Pro
  • Experience with videography and motion graphics preferred 
  • A strong online portfolio of work demonstrating experience in digital and print design and the ability to continuously display those skills while in the role
  • Strong attention to detail with exceptional typographical skills, sense of layout, color, composition, and hierarchy
  • Professional attitude; self-managed, self-motivated, proactive, detail-oriented, and a team player with a keen sense of urgency
  • Able to maintain daily workload in an extremely fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards and shifting priorities as needed; remain flexible and adaptable to changing deadlines and priorities and with professionalism

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to move and lift heavy objects (15 pounds or more) from time to time as required

The annual base salary range for this position is $80,000 - $90,000. The base salary is determined by experience, education, skills, and location.
