Perm PICU Pharmacist

Permanent Clinical PICU Pharmacist Location:Houston, Texas Shift:M-F; 8A-5PM but must be flexible to attend physician round and meetings Start:2-3weeks or ASAP Schedule & Shift: • On-call schedule requirements includes one full week every 8 weeks. Coverage is after hours and weekends for that full week. No add'l pay for on-call. • Guaranteed 40 hours/week • Day shift, M-F, 8 to 5 but the specialist will round with physicians, as well as attend meetings so need to be flexible. Pay Range:$145000 to $180000/ yearly + possible relocation assistance to be discussed at interview Position develops, implements, and monitors clinical pharmacy programs to improve patient care with an additional focus on decreasing cost; provides clinical services to patients and professional staff; interacts with medical staff on drug utilization and cost containment. May be asked to assist in supervising the activities of all department employees in consultation with the department Director and/or Pharmacy Manager.
