Pharmacist

Position Summary We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Pharmacist for Variable shift. Schedule • Position –Pharmacist • Location –Ukiah, CA 95482 • Shift:Day Shift or Night Shift, depending upon skillset. Oncology skillset is need for day shift specifically. Otherwise, role will night shift. Night Shift is 7 on 7 off, 10-hour shifts, 8:30pm to 6:30 am. Day shift 4 days per week, 10 hour shifts, 7am to 5:30pm. Hospital experience needed for both shifts. • Job type – Contract 13 weeks Job Description • Verify and fills orders for medications, monitors patient medication therapies, provide drug information, identifies and troubleshoots potential medication safety hazards, documents all interactions for medical review, and supervises and directs support personnel. • This department (which does NOT include administration) controls, mixes, compounds, and distributes drugs, and provides pharmaceutical consultation in support of inpatients, as well as to ambulatory areas including ambulatory/outpatient clinics, infusion therapy, infusion oncology, ambulatory dialysis, ambulatory surgery, ambulatory procedural areas, Operating Rooms and the Emergency Department. Prescription-based Retail entities are excluded. Requirements • Education and Work Experience: Graduate of school of pharmacy: Required Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree: Preferred One year's technical experience: Preferred Inpatient clinical pharmacy experience: Preferred Licenses/Certifications: Pharmacist license in the state of practice: Required All licensures and certifications needed to fulfill the duties required of a Pharmacist at the state level: Required Registered Pharmacist (RPH): Required Facility Specific License/Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or HeartCode ACLS (HACLS) or Healthstream Advanced Cardiac Life Support (HS-ACLS): Required Basic Life Support (BLS) or HeartCode BLS (HBLS) or Healthstream Basic Life Support (HS-BLS): Required Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or HeartCode PALS (HPALS) or Healthstream Pediatric Advanced Life Support (HS-PALS): Required Job Types: Contract, Temporary Pay: $3,200.00 - $3,400.00 per week Benefits: • Health insurance Application Question(s): • Graduate of school of pharmacy: Required • All licensures and certifications needed to fulfill the duties required of a Pharmacist at the state level: Required Experience: • Pharmacist: 2 years (Required) License/Certification: • Registered Pharmacist (RPH) (Required) • ACLS Certification (Required) • BLS Certification (Required) • PALS Certification (Required) Work Location: On the road
