Investigational Drug Services (IDS) Pharmacist – Clinical Trials Austin TX | Full-time We’re looking for a dedicatedIDS Pharmacistto support our oncology clinical trials team. This role is key in ensuring patient safety and strict protocol adherence across a variety of investigational studies. What you’ll do: • Review study protocols for feasibility and compliance, attend site initiation visits, and collaborate with the care team. • Oversee receipt, storage, preparation, dispensing, and return of investigational products (IPs) per SOPs, GCP, and GMP. • Maintain precise inventory and drug accountability records using Vestigo and eDOCs. • Supervise pharmacy techs in preparing and compounding IV, hazardous, and oral investigational meds. • Answer monitor queries, assist with audits, and contribute to corrective action plans if needed. • Provide education to IDS staff, residents, and students, and ensure all licensing and protocol training stays current. What you bring: • Active Pharmacy License in Texas (required) • Preceptor License, IV Certification, and Chemotherapy Certification (preferred) • Knowledge of USP <797>, USP <800>, and oncology or research pharmacy practices • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality, compliant processes Physical requirements: • Ability to stand and sit for long periods, lift up to 40 lbs, and perform tasks requiring fine motor skills and coordination.
