Pharmacist

Pay:$65.16 per hour Hours: 2 shifts available:Opening 1: M–F, 10am–6pm Opening 2: M–F, 12pm–8pm Location:Onsite in Tempe, AZ 85281 Position Purpose:The Pharmacist plays a critical role in ensuring safe, effective, and compliant medication management for patients. This role balances clinical expertise with patient education, operational oversight, and collaboration across the healthcare team. Responsibilities Accept and dispense prescription medications accurately and in compliance with regulations Monitor patient medication adherence and identify potential overuse patterns Ensure prescribed medications are appropriate for patients’ needs and conditions Maintain accurate, confidential patient records and pharmacy files Counsel patients on proper use of medications, potential side effects, interactions, and safety considerations Provide education and consultation on both prescription and non-prescription drugs Support wellness services such as smoking cessation, blood pressure checks, and cholesterol management Educate patients on proper use of medical devices (e.g., blood pressure monitors, glucose meters) Compound medications for internal and external use, including preparation of sterile solutions Supervise and support pharmacy staff, including technicians and clerks Maintain appropriate inventory levels of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies Identify and resolve drug-related problems, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals as needed Work closely with physicians, nurses, fellow pharmacists, pharmacy interns, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes Requirements: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required Active AZ Pharmacist license, in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy Strong multitasking abilities, urgency in workflow, and computer proficiency #INDAH Job Type: Full-time Pay: $65.16 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Vision insurance License/Certification: • Licensed Pharmacist (Required) Location: • Tempe, AZ 85281 (Required) Work Location: In person
