Job Title: Pharmacist – Retail Pharmacy

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicatedPharmacistto join our retail pharmacy team in Las Vegas, Nevada, starting inOctober or November 2025. This role presents an excellent opportunity for an experienced pharmacist to contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical pharmacy, medication therapy management, and patient care, with the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and interpret prescriptionsto ensure accurate medication therapy and patient safety.
• Prepare and dispense medications, including compounding, while adhering to all applicable aseptic techniques and quality control standards.
• Counsel patientson the proper use of medications, addressing potential side effects, drug interactions, and ensuring understanding of treatment regimens.
• Manage pharmacy inventory, ensuring the availability of medications and minimizing waste and shortages.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionalsto optimize patient care, providing clinical insights in acute care settings and managing medication regimens for chronic conditions.
• Administer immunizationsand perform IV insertion as needed, in compliance with all regulatory guidelines.
• Utilize pharmacy softwareand electronic health record (EHR) systems for accurate medication documentation, prescription processing, and patient data management.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, safeguarding patient confidentiality and ensuring privacy in all aspects of pharmacy practice.
• Participate in pain managementstrategies and provide clinical advice on medical management for patients with long-term health conditions.
Qualifications:
• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.)degree from an accredited institution.
• Pharmacy residencyor equivalent clinical pharmacy experience is preferred.
• Previous experience in LTC pharmacy or hospital settingsis advantageous, but not required.
• Strong understanding ofpharmacology,medical terminology, andpatient care principles.
• Demonstrated ability to provideoutstanding patient service, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
• Familiarity withIV infusion protocolsand experience inacute care pharmacyis highly desirable.
• Previous experience as apharmacy technicianis a plus but not mandatory.
• Ability towork collaborativelywithin a multidisciplinary healthcare team to enhance patient care outcomes.
