If this excites you, we’d love to have you join us. About the Role As a Staff Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of prescription orders to patients. Your responsibilities will include: • Check prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and physician instructions • Identify and resolve prescribing, formulary, and therapeutic issues, collaborating proactively with healthcare providers to recommend formulary substitutions when deemed appropriate • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes • Provide prospective drug utilization review (DUR) to maintain high quality assurance practices • Provide counseling and drug-related information to customers for both prescription and over-the-counter items • Deliver excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries, concerns, and medication-related questions Requirements: • You have 1-2+ years of relevant pharmacy experience, including prescription processing, inventory management, and customer inquiries • Valid New York pharmacist license in good standing required • You are resourceful, optimistic, creative, and enjoy helping your team • You understand how to create a great customer experience and can analyze and improve pharmacy processes What We Offer • Competitive compensation, commensurate with qualifications and experience • Based on the hours you work, you could qualify for our full range of benefits, medical, dental, and vision coverage—all designed to support your health and well-being • Part-time and full-time team members can join our 401(k) after 30 days with us • The opportunity to work alongside some of the brightest minds in healthcare and technology • The opportunity to execute on a high-impact mission, to build a pharmacy that works for everyone, within a $425 billion pharmacy industry touching 70% of Americans once a month Capsule is committed to hiring the best team possible to build a pharmacy that works for everyone.
