JOB DESCRIPTION – PHARMACIST IN CHARGE Job Summary Seeking a licensed pharmacist for a new pharmacy opening soon. We are an independent, closed-door pharmacy startup focused on delivering exceptional care and personalized service to patients. We’re looking for a motivated Pharmacist-in-Charge who is excited to grow with us and make a direct impact on patient care and pharmacy operations. Prior management/supervisory experience preferred, but not required. As the PIC, you’ll play a key leadership role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, supervising pharmacy staff, and fostering a positive, patient-first environment. Responsibilities and Duties β€’ Manage the operations of the pharmacy including but not limited to operational, administrative, customer care and any other responsibilities. β€’ Ensures staff communicates clearly, effectively and positively with patients and acts professional and courteous. β€’ Provide exceptional customer service and build rapport with physicians and patients. β€’ Supervise and direct pharmacy technicians and processors on their daily tasks including training. β€’ Fill prescriptions and verify all dispensed medications prior to shipment. β€’ Comply to all state and federal laws and regulations as per the state board of pharmacy. β€’ Resolve any issues that may arise in the pharmacy. β€’ Coordinate with physicians' offices on all incoming prescriptions. β€’ Consult with patients on the use of their medications. β€’ Manage inventory and place orders when necessary. Qualifications and Skills β€’ Must have an active TX license. β€’ Licensed and/or willing to obtain license in Georgia and Illinois. β€’ Must be friendly, organized, detail oriented and diligent. β€’ Able to deal with challenging situations with professionalism. β€’ Management/supervisory experience in a pharmacy or a small business environment is a plus, but not required. Hours:Full Time (40 hours a week), Mon to Fri, 8 AM to 4 PM, no weekends Pay:Salary of $85,000-$130,000+ Benefits:Medical/Dental/PTO Job Type: Full-time Pay: $85,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year Benefits: β€’ Dental insurance β€’ Health insurance β€’ Paid time off Schedule: β€’ 8 hour shift β€’ Monday to Friday β€’ No nights β€’ No weekends Work Location: In person
