Job Description

Our Company SpecialtyRx is a Long-Term Care pharmacy providing pharmaceutical services to long term care facilities and assisted living communities. SpecialtyRx takes pride in delivering personalized care and quality pharmacy services. As a Pharmacist Trainer, you will be responsible for conducting, developing, and facilitating training materials for new and current hires to meet and exceed all aspects of SpecialtyRx. The position will be part of Training Department and reporting to the Head of Training in the Texas location. NOTICE: SpecialtyRx is seeking Pharmacist Trainer located in the surrounding areas of Grand Prairie, TX. Address: 1525 Greenview Dr, Grand Prairie, TX 75050 Responsibilities • Develop and maintain training materials, SOPs, and competency assessments. • Stay current with LTC pharmacy trends, best practices, and regulatory updates. • Educate staff on federal and state regulations specific to LTC facilities (e.g., CMS, DEA, state boards). • Design and deliver training outline, via zoom and/or in person, focused on LTC pharmacy practices. • Train pharmacists on the use of LTC pharmacy software systems (e.g., FrameworkLTC, FrameworkECM, mediprocity, PCC, etc). • Support onboarding of new pharmacists with LTC-specific protocols and workflows. • Assist with new policy and process roll out to educate staff • Collaborate with management to ensure training aligns with expectations and performance reviews. • Administer records of all training, in-services required by Company policies and local, state, federal laws, rules and regulations • Perform other related duties and assignments as required and assigned by the Regional Director of Pharmacy South Central Qualifications • Registered with Texas Board of Pharmacy / Licensed Pharmacist • Long Term Care Pharmacy experiencerequired • Frameworks / ECM / Docutrackrequired • Must be enthusiastic and comfortable speaking in front of large groups of people • Proficient in MS Office a plus • Ability to be mobile in performing job duties • Approximately 10% travelrequired Shifts • Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm • Must be flexible in working later shift or weekends to accommodate any mandatory training for new hires Benefits • Health insurance • Dental insurance • Vision insurance • Retirement plan • Paid time off • Employee Assistance Program EEO Statement, SpecialtyRx, Inc. is fully committed to employing a diverse workforce.
