Job Description

Overview We’re hiring a Pharmacist to support a high-volume specialty mail order pharmacy operation inDallas, Texas. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced clinical setting, and has experience handling complex medications like oncology, rheumatology, or rare disease therapies. You’ll be responsible for clinical verification, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with pharmacy staff to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment. If you're comfortable working with minimal supervision and take pride in supporting patients who rely on specialized therapies, this is a great opportunity to step into a rewarding overnight position with consistency and autonomy. Key Responsibilities • Perform final verification and clinical checks on specialty prescriptions. • Collaborate with technicians and fulfillment team to ensure accurate dispensing. • Communicate with patients and providers regarding medication regimens, as needed. • Monitor for drug interactions, contraindications, and clinical appropriateness. • Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations. • Support quality initiatives and process improvement within the pharmacy. • Provide mentorship to pharmacy support staff when on shift. Required Qualifications • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from an accredited school. • Current, active Pharmacist license in Texas (in good standing). • 2+ years of experience as a licensed pharmacist. • Strong knowledge of specialty medications and regulatory standards. Preferred Qualifications • Previous experience in a specialty pharmacy setting or mail order environment. • Familiarity with URAC or ACHC accreditation standards. • Licensure in additional states (not required).
