Pharmacy PIC

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacy PIC (Pharmacist in Charge) to lead our pharmacy team. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with all regulatory standards while providing exceptional pharmaceutical care to our patients. This role requires strong leadership skills, a commitment to patient safety, and the ability to manage pharmacy operations efficiently. Responsibilities • Oversee daily pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. • Manage and supervise pharmacy staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations. • Ensure accurate dispensing of medications and provide consultation to patients regarding their prescriptions. • Maintain inventory levels and manage procurement of pharmaceutical supplies. • Implement and monitor quality assurance programs to enhance patient safety. • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and medication therapy management. • Address patient inquiries and resolve any issues related to medications or pharmacy services. • Stay updated on industry trends, new medications, and best practices in pharmacy management. Experience • A Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution is required. • Active pharmacist license in good standing with the state board of pharmacy. • Previous experience as a pharmacist or in a leadership role within a pharmacy setting is preferred. • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations, medication therapy management, and patient counseling techniques. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. • Proficiency in pharmacy management software and technology.
