The Photo Assistant is responsible for supporting all visual asset production and management across brands for the Dotdash Meredith Commerce group. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Supporting the Photography team's execution of all in-Lab testing and product photography, from pre- through post-production: acting as on-set support during photoshoots, helping with lighting set-up and strike; equipment management; naming and managing visual asset files and helping manage post-production processes and schedules, including collaborating with in-house teams and freelancers to facilitate the retouching process and final deliverables.
This role is required to be onsite.

This role is required to be onsite.
About Your Contributions:
- Support the creation, execution and delivery of all visual assets for Dotdash Meredith Product testing
- Ensure all technical specs are consistently followed to a T (file naming, file size, number of deliverables etc)
- Collaborate with the Commerce, Production, and Editorial teams to uphold the visual identities for all brands
- Act as digital tech for photographers
- Maintain a physical presence on sets
- Create shotlists with included reference images for each project while using Google reviews and research being a top priority
About You:
- 3 to 5 years experience photo production (focus on commerce & product photography is a plus)
- Proficient in all modern camera systems (specifically Canon) & lighting equipment, as well as lighting techniques for a variety of subject matter
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, CaptureOne, and Google Suite
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work across teams with a positive, solutions-oriented attitude
- Ability to work independently in a fast paced, iterative, deadline-driven environment.
- Experience with set styling is a plus
- Be able to stand for longs periods of time and lift upwards of 40lbs
