Photo Post Production Manager

Job Summary:

Ruggable is seeking a Photo Post Production Manager to join our in-house production team. The Photo Post Production Manager will support the Marketing team to produce high-quality content within an accelerated time frame. The role requires a highly-organized and detail-oriented individual who can lead a team of retouchers and digital designers. The ideal candidate is an expert in photo compositing and retouching, is able to make critiques with a designer's eye, and has experience developing 3D rendering workflows.

Ruggable is based in Gardena, CA and the job requires someone who lives in the Los Angeles area.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage day-to-day photo post-production pipeline, ensure drafts/revisions are on-time and QC assets before final delivery
• This position will oversee both e-commerce and advertising photo retouchers, vendors, and freelancers, as well as 3D rendering artists
• Optimize existing photo workflows and develop new workflows in 3D rendering and automation to eliminate bottlenecks
• Support continuity between e-commerce and advertising product representation. Expert understanding of color correction and manipulation for digital and print
• Work closely with various internal stakeholders to understand product launch priorities, calendars, and growth opportunities
• Work with Digital Asset Management systems and stay up to date with content release and usage rights
• Manage/mentor our in-house photo retouchers and digital designers. Lead training efforts and guideline creation

What You’ll Need to Have:

Required:

• 5+ years photo post-production experience — advanced knowledge or high level experience as a photo retoucher and compositor in a commercial/advertising environment
• Must have proven experience in leadership, hiring and managing a post-production team with 3+ direct reports
• Must be able to manage multiple projects in a fast pace environment, and be a strong communicator with offsite teams
• Ability to work with stringent deadlines with extreme pressure and change
• High technical proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, CaptureOne, color correction and calibration software, Excel, and general scripting logic
• Must have an eye for interior design and be able to guide designers to make optimal retouching and design decisions
