Cardiology Associates of New Brunswick opportunity

Cardiology Associates of New Brunswick (CANB) is seeking a full-time physician assistant. CANB is one of the oldest practices in New Jersey and has served the Central Jersey community for 80 years, providing a full range of office and hospital-based services.

The PA will work within a group of 11 physicians and 4 APN/PAs. Duties include hospital rounding, office consultations, and performing stress tests. The group practices at multiple locations including two New Brunswick hospitals: Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and St. Peters University Hospital, as well at Robert Wood Johnson Rahway Hospital. Main office location is in East Brunswick.

Practice highlights:

11 physicians and 4 nurse practitioners.  4 are interventional cardiologists and 2 electrophysiologists.  A member of the RWJPhysician Enterprise, RWJBarnabas Health. 

Location with access to NYC and Philadelphia and multiple desirable communities from which to choose to live.

RWJUH is a quaternary hospital and the major teaching hospital of RWJ Medical School. It offers cutting edge cardiac transplantation/ heart failure, structural heart, electrophysiology, cardiac imaging, and interventional cardiology programs.

The practice is highly regarded, and its physicians have leadership roles including clinical chief of cardiology at RWJUH, assistant director of the cardiac catheterization lab, membership on the hospital board of directors.
