Physician Assistant - Immediate Care

Endeavor Health is actively recruiting  Physician Assistants to join our team.  We are looking for individuals who enjoy a fast-paced, team-based environment while working to the top of their licenses.

Position Highlights:

• Position: Physician Assistant, Immediate Care, Medical Group
• Location:  Cook & Lake Counties
• Full Time/Part Time: Full-time
• Required Travel: Travel to multiple locations in Cook and Lake Counties will be required
• Hourly Pay Range: $52 - $80. As a valued member of an integrated team, your placement within the pay range is dependent on previous experience

Training

• We offer an intensive 12-week orientation program that consists of clinical and didactic training.
• License: 
  • Illinois Physician Assistant License (PA) required
  • Illinois Controlled Substance and Federal DEA licenses required
• Education: 
  
  • Physician Assistants--Graduate of an ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant program (Masters preferred)
• Certification: 
  • BLS for Healthcare provider required
  • Physician Assistant current certification by the National Commission of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
• Experience: 
  • Prior PA emergency department, or Urgent Care / Immediate Care experience preferred
  • New graduates are welcome to apply

What you will do:

• Obtain and record history of present illness, perform physical exams, and record findings
• Perform diagnostic, preventative, and therapeutic procedure
• Order diagnostic tests and interpret results
• Prescribe appropriate pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions
• Provide appropriate consults and/or referrals as needed
• Develop treatment and education plans
