About the Position: This position is located at Fairchild Air Force Base in Spokane, Washington.

Fairchild Air Force Base is home to a wide variety of units and missions, the most prominent is the air refueling mission. Fairchild has two wings, the 92nd Air Refueling Wing, and the 141st ARW. Other units include the Air Force Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape school, medical detachments, a weapons squadron and the Joint Personnel Recovery Agency.

• Provide first contact, continuous, comprehensive primary care for infants, children, youth, and adults.
• Independently formulate full treatment and management regimens based on sound diagnoses consistent with current evidence-based clinical practice guidelines.
• Provide a full range of primary and preventive health care services, including military-specific medical care, ambulatory surgical procedures, coordination of care, and referral to other facilities and specialists.
• Provide clinical and administrative leadership to the faculty and staff.
• Serve as clinical preceptor for other professional providers which may include other Physicians, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, etc.
