Physician - Infectious Disease

Mercy Infectious Disease is currently seeking a board certified or board eligible Infectious Disease Physician to join our practice in St Louis, MO.  Our Team consists of three Infectious Disease Physicians, and an engaged support staff focused on quality patient care. 

Mercy Infectious Disease

• Includes both outpatient & inpatient duties
• Teaching and active research opportunities
• Call schedule 1:4
• Participation in Infection Prevention and Antimicrobial Stewardship programs, if desired.
• Providing clinical services at one hospital
• Seamless transition of care from one team to the next – focused on quality patient care, reduced lengths of stay and comprehensive care plan

Mercy Hospital St Louis:

• 900-bed, fully accredited teaching hospital
• Only Level I Trauma Center in St. Louis County
• 24/7 Hospitalist Coverage.
• Pharmacy Staff includes an Infectious Disease Pharm D.
• A Critical Care Department which manages more than 100 ICU and intermediate beds including traditional coronary, medical surgical, trauma and neurosurgical patients.
• Mercy Critical Care Medicine Fellowship, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine & OBGYN Residency Programs.
• 80,000 adult emergency visits annually
• Robust Hospitalist program, EICU and EPIC Electronic Health Records
