Description:
The Department of Urology at Stony Brook Medicine is seeking a fellowship-trained physician researcher in Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS/URPS) with a strong academic background and a demonstrated commitment to advancing scientific research in urology.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- New York State Medical License or eligibility.
- MD and PhD degrees (or foreign equivalent).
- Completion (or near completion) of fellowship training in Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS/URPS).
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Urology.
- High-quality publication record in urology and related fields.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- History of extramural funding.
- Expertise in urologic infectious disease with an emphasis on translational microbiology, molecular mechanisms of infection, device-related biofilm research, or outcomes in pelvic floor disorders.
