Piano Teacher for Beginners

Piano Teachers Wanted | Henderson Academy of Music Seattle, WA – Choose Your Hours, Service Area, and Curriculum I’m looking for passionate, patient, and engaging teachers who want to make a difference in students’ lives. Most of our students are kids ages 5–12, many of them complete beginners. The most important qualities I'm looking for are patience, the ability to work with kids, and being engaging—pianists and piano teachers are welcome, but vocalists and other instrumentalists with basic piano skills are also encouraged to apply. Ability to teach other instruments is a plus, but not required. You don't need to be an expert pianist- most of our students are kids, many are beginners. I am looking for people who are patient, engaging, encouraging, and who work well with kids and families. As an in-home private instructor, you will travel to students' homes for lessons. You choose your service area and your schedule (you'll never have to travel further than you want—accept only the students that work for your schedule).You'll also have the option to teach out of your home or studio if you have a space available. We service the Greater Seattle Area—Seattle, Eastside, South Seattle, Shoreline, and beyond. Wherever you live, we can connect you with students nearby. What We Offer • In-Demand Instrument:Piano. Ability to teach other instruments is a plus, but not necessary • Flexible Scheduling:Set your own hours and travel area—work as much or as little as you’d like. • Student Referrals:I connect you with students so you can focus on teaching. • Teaching Freedom:Choose your own teaching style and curriculum (basic piano teaching guidance available if needed).
