PICU Clinical Pharmacist Location:Houston, TX 77030 Job Type:Full-Time | Permanent Pay:$145,000 – $180,000 per year Job Summary: We are looking for an experiencedPICU Clinical Pharmacistto join a leading children’s hospital in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have completed residency training and have hands-on experience working with critically ill pediatric patients. Key Responsibilities: • Provide pharmacy support for patients in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). • Review and adjust medication plans to ensure safe and effective treatment. • Work closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare team members. • Monitor patient progress and provide recommendations for medication therapy. • Educate and support healthcare staff on medication use and safety. • Follow all hospital and pharmacy policies and regulations. Requirements: • PharmDdegree from an accredited school of pharmacy. • PGY2 Pediatric Pharmacy Residencycompleted (required). • Must havecompleted residency training— current residents arenot eligible. • Recent experienceas a clinical pharmacist inPICUor pediatric acute care setting. • Active Texas pharmacist licenseor eligible for licensure.
