Pipe Welder

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Pipe Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing, maintaining, and repairing piping systems in various settings, including construction sites and industrial facilities. The Pipe Welder will utilize their expertise in welding techniques, particularly FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Responsibilities • Interpret and work from blueprints and schematics to fabricate and install piping systems. • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for pipe threading and fitting. • Perform welding tasks using FCAW techniques to join metal components securely. • Construct fire sprinkler systems according to specifications and safety regulations. • Maintain clean and organized work areas on construction sites to promote safety. • Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards. • Conduct routine inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with project requirements. Qualifications • Proficiency in basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to pipe fitting. • Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics accurately. • Experience with hand tools and equipment used in pipe welding and fitting. • Familiarity with fire sprinkler fitting systems is a plus. • Knowledge of pipe threading techniques is preferred. • Ability to work effectively on construction sites while adhering to safety protocols. • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
