Plant Manager

Summary:

• Is responsible of leading the Plant to operate and provide products and services with the quality and time expected; in an efficient and cost effective manner while meeting company business targets.

Role:

• Stablish and ensure the plant operates in optimal conditions and safety culture.
• Stablish and maintain company processes to ensure maximum capacity and resource utilization.
• Develop strategies to achieve QVC targets.
• Provide solid, consistent leadership, accountability and mentoring to all employees.
• Lead the plant's efforts to develop personnel.
• Responsible for P&L of the business unit.
• Lead use of tools to improve business conditions such as: ICIM, Shainin, Lean, Problem Solving, etc.
• Lead initiatives to reduce cost and increase productivity and delivery .

Background:

• Bachelors in Engineering or other required.
• Master degree is highly desired.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish).
• Strong use of Continuous Improvement and Problem Solving tools: ICIM/ Shainin / other.
• Finance knowledge: P&L, Forecasting, budgets.
• Coaching and management skills.
• Flexibility to change: move to other location/ area.
• Computer systems such as: Microsoft Office, Minitab, SAP are a must. Experience in manufacturing of automotive harnesses (must)
