Platform Engineer

We are looking for a Platform Engineer to contribute to infrastructure used to develop and test our Veeam Kasten data management platform, purpose-built for Kubernetes, ensuring top-tier security and excellence. 

Your tasks will include:  

• Rolling out and maintaining on-premises and cloud infrastructures used for our product development and testing
• Implementing and supporting CI/CD pipelines
• Developing tools automating our technical daily routines
• Developing and enhancing Infrastructure as Code templates
• Preparing technical documentation and specifications

What we expect from you:  

• 3+ years of experience deploying, upgrading and maintaining infrastructures run both in on-premises and cloud environments with Kubernetes and Docker
• Experience with VM management platforms such as Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization and VMware
• Experience with container orchestration and management platforms
• Experience with the design, implementation, and maintenance of infrastructure, CI/CD practices and infrastructure monitoring tools
• Strong understanding and experience with an IaC tool such as Terraform or Pulumi
• Experience coding in high-level programming languages like Golang or Python
• Possessing system programming skills in Bash 

Will be an advantage:  

• Experience with Kubernetes management solutions such as: OpenShift, Rancher, Google GKE, AWS EKS, Azure AKS, VMware TKG(s), etc  
• Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD)
