Platform Engineer - Staff

About the role: The platform engineeris responsible forsupportingour Windowssystems infrastructureacross the enterprise to ensure our services are reliable secure scalable and performant. The role involveseffectively working withother cross-functional teams within the organization tomeet business objectives.

What you’lldo:

• Deploy and support Windows systems infrastructure and associated services i.e Active Directory Group Policies DNS services etc.

• Utilize scripting and programming languages to automate daily tasks

• Leverageinfrastructure as code tools like Terraform CloudFormation Ansible or similar technologies to manage the infrastructure

• Participate in incident management processes quickly identifying and resolving issues. Join in root cause analysis to prevent future incidents

• Analyze and optimize system performance using monitoring and logging tools. Work to improve response times and decrease downtime.

• Collaborate with Cyber security and other teams to remediate vulnerabilities in alignment with policy

• Monitor infrastructure and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.

• Create and maintain documentation for systems processes and procedures and share with team

• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies

What you’ll bring:

• 2+ years of experience leveraging automation to manage Windows systems and infrastructure

• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure

• Experience with infrastructure as code(IaC) tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation

• Technical experience implementing managing and supporting windows systems infrastructure

• Experience using one or more programming languages (Python Powershell)

• Able to work flexible hours as required by business priorities; Available on a 24x7x365 basis when needed for production impacting incidents or key customer events.
