Lead the team responsible for Operations and Maintenance of the Enterprise Platform Services and provides support and collaboration for IT enterprise platforms supporting the USCIS network infrastructure cloud and applications delivery spaces. These services and technologies factor in the strategic aspects of agencywide initiatives combined with overarching and overlapping business requirements in the Platform Architecture and Engineering section as identified above. The troubleshooting of enterprise Platform Services issues requires additional support to provide incident and problem analysis. Platform Subject Matter Expertise in support of all aspects of the USCIS Platform Infrastructure is required.
A minimum of five (5) years of experience with architecting and developing platform based solutions establishing throughput and setting baselines for acceptable performances standards.
Working knowledge of DevOps concepts
Experience in evaluation and analysis of workloads that are running in public and private cloud environments.
Expertise working with virtualization storage and enterprise backup solutions using automation technologies.
Expertise working with Active Directory technologies.
Expertise working with application streaming and desktop virtualization technologies.
Certification: Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert has been obtained within the last five years.
