Job Summary The responsibility of the Plating Operator shall be to perform all aspects of utilization of the following PCB Plating equipment and processes: Electroless Copper, Electrolytic Copper, Electrolytic Tin, Etching, Resist Stripping, Electrolytic Gold, Electroless Ni/Au (ENIG), Co-bra Bond, Hot Air Levelling Solder (HALS). Key Responsibilities • Review product flow and ensure all products are aligned with specifications • Maintain/clean equipment • Perform preventive maintenance (PM) as needed • Be able to operate and maintain the various pieces of equipment within the department • Measure out the proper quantities and make chemical adds to baths or sumps • Manually setup and transfer solution between tanks, totes or barrels • Candidate would be required to work on, in, and around open sumps, plating tanks or mechanical hoists • Assist lower-level employees in basic set-up and operations, provide relief support on equipment and processes • Thorough use of a computer interface. • Able to enter operating parameters, job information and view various screens to decipher proper operating settings • Follow company policies and procedures. Required Skills Competent in reading, speaking, writing, and understanding of the English language. Experience Requirements 3 – 5 years of experience in PCB manufacturing environment Education Requirements High School diploma or equivalent Physical Requirements • Able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs. • Able to manipulate hand cart in moving 55-gallon drums. • Must be able to stand/walk for a long period of time.
